A foundation degree is a one-year program designed for international students who want to earn a British degree but do not meet the entry requirements for a direct bachelor’s program. The program focuses on developing students’ English language skills and academic preparation for university study. Foundation programs are available in various fields, including business, science, finance, management, marketing, law, computing, media, art and design, pharmacy, and humanities. To be accepted into a foundation program, students must have an overall IELTS score of at least 4.5 with no individual band score below 4.0, and a Higher Secondary Certificate.
